SALFORD City winger Matty Chadwick has been released and re-joined Evo-Stik Premier Division rivals Ashton United.
The left-footer swapped Hurst Cross for the Class of ’92 owned Ammies last November, but has today (Friday, September 11) been released and rejoined the Robins.

Chadwick, who formed part of the 2014 Evo-Stik Premier Division team of the year, scored two goals during this time at Moor Lane from eight starts and 13 substitute appearances over last season’s promotion campaign and the start of this season.
His first Salford goal came in a 5-1 victory over Padiham last season, but he’s been forced to leave Moor Lane in search of regular football.

Salford currently sit in 6th place in the Evo-Stik Premier Division and host Whitby Town in FA Cup first qualifying round this weekend.
Ashton, who were losing play-off semi-finalists last season, have struggled slightly so far this season and sit in 15th place having only won two of their first eight games. They host Guisborough Town at Hurst Cross this weekend.
All the best @chaddy1910 at @AshtonUnitedFC thanks for all your efforts!
