MACCLESFIELD Town have bolstered their forward options with the signings of winger Lindon Meikle and striker Fisayo Adarabioyo on non-contract terms.
27-year-old Meikle joins the Silkmen after being released by League Two club York City having failed to score during his one-season stay at Bootham Crescent.
Ex-Manchester City frontman Adarabioyo, 20, left Crystal Palace last month having played for their Under-21s side last term.
Both are set to be included in the matchday squad for Saturday’s National League match with Aldershot Town at the Electrical Services Stadium.
Meikle won non-league’s top tier in 2013 with Mansfield Town, for whom he scored 12 goals in over 100 appearances which led to recognition with three England C caps in the 2011-12 campaign.
He started his career at Evo-Stik First Division South side Eastwood Town, where he netted 22 goals in 87 outings, and will compete with Theo Bailey-Jones, Danny Rowe and Danny Whitaker for a starting berth in John Askey’s team.
Adarabioyo spent two years at Birmingham City before linking up with Manchester City in 2013 to continue his development in their Under-18s and Under-21s.
The London-born player, who was on trial with Manchester United in the 2012-13 season, will be a welcome addition to the Moss Rose outfit to battle with Jack Sampson, Kristian Dennis and Chris Holroyd for a starting berth.
Macclesfield, who finished a point outside of the play-offs last season, sit 17th in the table with 13 points from 12 league games so far.
