FC United of Manchester will be hoping to build on their victory at Stockport County as they take on top of the table Nuneaton Town at Broadhurst Park on Wednesday night (KO 19:45 GMT).
The Reds hadn’t won in seven matches before Saturday’s success at Edgeley Park which leaves them with 18 points from as many games played.
Despite the 2-1 win, FC remain embroiled in a fight to stay up in this year’s National League North and will be looking to end a run of five home defeats in a row.
Kyle Marginson’s men are in search of just their sixth league win all season with defensive issues being a concern, having leaked 32 goals already.
In stark contrast, Wednesday’s visitors travel to Manchester on the back of a goalless draw at home to Corby last weekend but nonetheless are in a rich vein of form. The Boro are unbeaten in their last nine matches, a run stretching two months, scoring 21 goals in the process.
Kevin Wilson’s side will hope his side can stretch their lead at the top to four points above second-placed Flyde, although their rivals will have two games in hand over FC after Wednesday’s match.
Both sides have no fresh injury concerns ahead of the game.
