Two men have been charged after a man was stabbed to death in Bolton.
Police discovered 23-year-old Carlton Alexander after they were called to a property in Brightmeadow Close, Breightmet, Bolton, in the early hours of Sunday 13 December.
Carlton was taken to hospital, where he sadly died later that day.
Ross Ashcroft, 31, of Leonard Street, Bolton, has been charged with his murder and possession of an offensive weapon.
Stephen Nambwe, 21, of High Street, Bolton, has been charged with affray and possession of an offensive weapon.
Both men were remanded into custody to appear before Bolton Magistrates Court on Wednesday 16 December 2015.
Paying tribute, his family said: “Our son Carlton was the most loving person, a good brother and loved by all his family.
“His closest friends will know what a good hearted and true gentleman he really was. For the short time he was with us, he has touched so many hearts and lives. Always with us, mum, dad, brother.”
Three other men were initially arrested in connection with the murder but have since been released without charge.
