A 25-year-old woman has been repeatedly stabbed in Collyhurst, Manchester.
Police and paramedics were called to the scene on Teignmouth Avenue, Collyhurst just after 11pm last night where a woman was found having suffered multiple stab wounds to her stomach and hands but police are still looking for what is believed to be a male suspect.
It is believed the woman has attended hospital where she has undergone emergency surgery and is in a serious condition, according to police.
Pictures on Twitter show the scene of the incident with white forensic tarpaulin over the entrance to the house, and police crime tape cordoning the area off while specially trained officers search for evidence.
