LORD Peter Mandelson has officially been appointed as Manchester Metropolitan University’s Chancellor.
The former Secretary of State will begin his role on April 1, 2016, succeeding Dame Diane Thompson DBE.
According to MMU’s official website, “The role of Chancellor is to act as the most senior ambassador and ceremonial head of the University, promoting its mission, vision and values.”
