SEVEN BROTHERS Brewery has decided to take to Manchester and open their own bar. At the bar they will be selling their own craft brew for which they are famously known for.

Last night (15th December 2016) the new bar, which is located off Blossom Street in Ancoats hosted its soft launch.

The brothers themselves have converted the majority of the building and set it up – apart from things that require an electrician or a plumber.

The soft launch attracted a wide age ranging audience and was packed for the majority of the night. Free cake was on offer around the bar and spirits were also available for purchase as well as the brother’s craft beers and their personal favourite bottled beers and drafts.

The interior the brothers have gone with for the Seven Brothers brewery consists of dark maroon coloured sofas as well as high and low wooden tables.

Two of the brothers Keith McAvoy (second oldest) and Kit McAvoy (second youngest) explained how they’d always known they’d work together as group. Their interest in brewing beer came from their father, whom during the brother’s childhood invested in a home brewing kit.

Statistics published as part of the launch CAMRA’s Good Beer Guide 2016 show that there are now 1,424 breweries in the UK with a net growth of 10 per cent in British breweries for the third consecutive year.

The bar will be launching officially in January of next year. By this time the downstairs area will have a working kitchen installed as well so guests can come for both a meal and an interesting, different craft beer.
