FEELING bored? Don’t know what do during the weekend? Tired of the same stuff and want to break free from your weekend routine? Don’t worry! Manchester has a variety of events coming up this weekend to keep everyone satisfied.

Ashbeck Audio: Located primarily in Bunley, Lancashire, the raves that originally started in the countryside are now making their way to the big city of Manchester. The event of Jungle/Jump up Drum & Bass will start on Friday night at 11:00pm and will last until 04:00am. Big names of the Drum & Bass stage such as King of the Rollers and Annix will headline the event followed by a series of other known artists. For further information about the event see here.

Antwerp Mansion presents REDLIGHT + support: Redlight, surely one of the biggest names of the house music scene, will perform on Friday night from 10:00pm until 03:00am at Antwerp Mansion. Make Stuff at touchstones Rochdale:  Make stuff is inviting all to take an introduction in to the world of making, get to grips with coding and explore some of Manchester’s best home grown creative tech. there will be 3D printing where you will be able to 3D print your own head. Wearable tech will be on show to use and have a blast with. Get down on the 11th February 2017. Entry is free.

Tanko fighting championships #3: For the people who want to blow off some steam the explosive and unpredictable demonstration of Mixed Martial Arts is back this Saturday from 05:00pm till 11:00pm with a group of outstanding fighters. For further information about the event see here.

Täpp Ep Launch @ Gullivers: The pair that creates live music of all sorts of styles like jazz, traditional folk, electronic dance music, funk and whatever other style you can imagine will be performing on Saturday night from 08:00pm until 11:00pm at Gullivers in Northern Quarter. Manchester Valentines Fun fair: The fun fair will host a huge attraction of rides for all members of the family and friends. Featuring the classic dodgems, Mexican wave, Twister and a large family roller coaster. The fun fair will be located in Manchester Heaton park this weekend on Saturday 11th – Sunday 12th 2017. The fun fair is free and will open 12 noon until 5pm.

Drake live at Manchester Arena: The renowned rapper is back in Manchester after his United States tour. Drake’s new album broke 1 billion streams on Apple Music defining him as a pioneer of the Hip Hop/R&B scene. He will perform in Manchester Arena on Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th with tickets prices starting at £55.00. For further information about the event see here.

Cancer research – winter run: After its fantastic and successful debut in 2016 the Cancer Research UK Manchester Winter Run returns on Sunday 12th of February. The event will take place on Eithad Campus from 8:00am till 03:00pm. The main event is a 10km run along with a 5km and 2.5km runs to make sure runners of all capabilities and age can participate. Moreover, there will be new additions to last year’s winter themed zones in order to ensure a fantastic atmosphere. For further information about the event see here.

Circus Funtasia: A daring show from all human circus show, aerialists, jugglers, breath taking motorbike globe riders and many more will take place on Sunday 12th of February at Wythenshawe Park. There are going to be two shows one from 02:00pm till 03:45pm and one from 05:00pm till 06:45pm.
