SALFORD Community Sport are holding school holiday schemes at their leisure centres with something for everyone to get involved in.

A range of multi-sport activity weeks are taking place at Salford Community Leisure (SCL), which aims to attract children during half term.

SCL is an independent legal unit, separate from Salford City Council, with a charitable status that thrives off being a community benefit society.

During the half term SCL is aiming to attract younger people to take part in their active programme and weekly activities that claims to have something for everyone.

Their programme is categorised under toddlers and pre-schoolers, families, older people, disabled people and many more to attract as many people as possible and keep Salford fit.

Their sports and activity camp is at a costly £40 for 4 to 7 year olds and £75 for 8 to 11 year olds, taking place between 20th February to 24th February.

Multi-sports activity weeks are varied across the half term and may deem to be the most popular to take part in.

Suitable for children aged 8 to 16 years, activities include Basketball, Tennis, Football, Dance, Arts and crafts.

With no booking required, multi-sports activity week takes place at Walkden High School with a £2 admission fee.
