What is thought to be the world’s largest ninja park, called Total Ninja, will open in Manchester this Friday.
It will feature seven ninja runs in total, each varying in difficulty from beginner to expert. The centre will open in Trafford Park and will be the first of its kind in the UK.
The course’s will pit visitors against various obstacles including a spider wall, tilting beams and a scramble net among other challenges, all of which will be supported by foam pits and airbags.
Innovation Leisure – the company behind the scheme, say they were inspired to create Total Ninja by the popular TV show, Ninja Warrior UK.
Nicola Glover, Business Development Manager from Total Ninja said: “It’s taken off the series…that’s obviously what’s inspired the adult section.”
The show Ninja Warrior is broadcast on ITV and is presented by Ben Shepard, Chris Kamara and Rochelle Humes.
The programme first aired in 2015 and features members of the public attempting to complete a gruelling assault course, in a bid to become Britain’s ultimate ninja warrior.
Innovation Leisure hope their new venture Total Ninja, will enable the wider public to test their strength and see if they have got what it takes.
As well as the seven different assault courses, the site will also feature a specialist ninja gym, where visitors can hone their skills before tackling the park’s tougher challenges.
Total Ninja will open to the public on Friday 26 May. Standard admission prices are yet to be confirmed.
