Eccles Leisure Centre has announced a total refurbishment of their facilities in time for the New Year.
The centre will close from Monday 27th November for renovation and then re-open on Friday 22nd December in time for 2018.
The aim is to improve the facilities by adding a further accessible range of equipment and will improve the quality of the gym for members.

Improvements will include:
- New interior decor
- An refreshed spin area
- Installation of a wider range of equipment to use
- Improvements to the main gym area
New facilities that will be available include:
- Adaptive Motion Trainer
- 2 Stairmaster step climbers
- Gym gears newest addition of new generation treadmills, cross-trainers and cycles
- Phone charging facilities for users
- HD Touch Screen

Eccles Leisure Centre is accessible via the local Eccles tram station.
The gym will be the only facility at the centre affected by the renovation, the rest of the centre including the pool will still be available to use.
