The supervisor of Santa’s Grotto says it is a ‘very fun, relaxed and magical environment’.
The new Santa’s Grotto opened today in the Manchester Arndale and takes new residence this year on the upper floor near Argos. The winter wonderland will be open from today until Sunday, December 24.
A Christmas memory is ready to be made by families in the centre of Manchester at Santa’s Grotto.
Claire Nacey, the supervisor of the grotto, promises that they have the best Santa and the best elves in town and it is worth the visit.
With a ticket to enter, children will be ushered into the festive Scandinavian log cabin by Father Christmas’ elves.
Inside, they can meet the big man as he sits by sparkling wrapped gifts, a faux log burning fire and a lit Christmas tree to add to the entire holiday effect.
Santa’s elves with a teddy bear for one of his visitors.
Visitors will be given a plush teddy bear and a chocolate Santa Claus shaped lollipop along after meeting himself and his helpers.
The elves are decked out from head to toe in festive attire and are there to help create a magical experience for the children.
At the end of the visit, various types of print photos are available for view and optional purchase to remember the festive experience . Downloadable versions of the memory are also available for purchase.
It is recommended that tickets are pre-booked before your visit. Tickets are £5.50 per child with two adults free and any additional from £1.
The tickets are available on the Manchester Arndale website.
