NEW Salford City FC documentary ‘Class of 92: Full Time’ will be broadcast on Sky Sports this Sunday at 22:00.

Two series of documentaries on the Salford club were broadcast on BBC in 2015 and 2016 titled ‘Class of 92: Out of Their League’.

But broadcast giant Sky have bought the rights to broadcast the latest edition of the documentary.

The show will follow the Ammies as they partake in their first season as a full-time club, and the trailer makes for interesting viewing.

The sneak-peak, posted by Sky Sports PL on Twitter, looks to promise dressing room brawls, boardroom debates, tense moments, and a seemingly stepped up production standard.

Construction of Salford’s newly renovated Peninsula Stadium, which was opened by Manchester United legend Sir Alex Ferguson, will also feature in the documentary.

After back-to-back promotions, Salford now find themselves just two divisions away from the English Football League and, with the previous documentaries racking up impressive viewing figures, a large national following.

The release of the trailer got, as expected, mixed reactions on Twitter:

The previous documentaries about Salford City were broadcast by the BBC and attracted a huge following as players turned into TV stars and the real struggles of a part-time football club were shown to the nation.

‘Class of 92: Full Time’ will surely be just as popular as the previous two series, but will only be available to those who have access to Sky channel Sky Sports Premier League.

You can catch ‘Class of 92: Full Time’ on Sky Sports Premier League on December 10 at 22:00.
