Cadishead Rhinos have struck a deal with a new kit sponsor for the new season next year, ‘AMW Stairlifts’ who are based in Cadishead themselves.

The club has released a statement saying:

“Cadishead Rhinos are delighted to once again have the support of AMW Stairlifts as our open age kit sponsors for the 2019/20 seasons. The company have been long time supporters at the club for a number of years including previous sponsorship deals with some of our junior teams. The continued support of this company is superb for all at the club and in this case in particular the open age side, who can now return to the pitch in a brand new kit ready to tackle the 2019 season head on.

Head coach John Brookes said “I’m pleased that AMW Stairlifts have took the opportunity to be the teams sole sponsor. The kit looks fantastic and the team are working hard to make sure that when they put it on they can do the club, AMW Stairlifts, and all the clubs supporters proud.” Club captain Brad White added “I’d like to thank the sponsors on the old kit, but, after a few very tough seasons it had seen better days; This new kit will definitely make the team look more professional as we aim to kick on from a successful 2018.”

Cadishead Rhinos last played a match against Wigan Spring view in which they lost 46-20. This match was in the semi-finals of the play offs of which they went out of.

The Rugby League team won 5 of their last 8 games of the season, beating teams such as Culcheth Eagles, Rylands Sharks and Westhoughton Lions and losing 3.

Club secretary and open age assistant coach Paul Elliott quoted “As a voluntary club it is the continued support of businesses like AMW Stairlifts who make it possible for the teams we have to continue representing the club looking smart, respectable and ready to play rugby league. The relationship between the club and AMW Stairlifts has been built over many years of working together and its fantastic of them to step up and be the sole sponsor of the open age kit.” Once again, a huge thanks to AMW Stairlifts for supporting us throughout the 2019/20 seasons.”
