Two men have been charged by Greater Manchester Police after members of the public were threatened in Lower Broughton, Salford.

Kirk’s Edwards, of no fixed address, and Rumaal Ingram, from Radcliffe have both been charged with possession of a prohibited weapon, possession of ammunition and possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear or unlawful violence.

Police were called to Cottenham Lane in Lower Broughton in the early hours of Tuesday morning after reports of men making threats outside a house.

Ingram also faces three further charges: possession of Cannabis, and driving whilst disqualified, along with driving without insurance.

Both men will appear at Manchester and Salford Magistrates’ Court later today.
