No Kids

Bristol theatre company, Ad Infitum, and Manchester’s Contact Theatre present ‘No Kids‘ as part of the Queer Conact Festival 2019, which will be running from 1 – 9 February 2019.

Described by Total Theatre as “‘We Need to Talk About Kevin’ on acid” the play will kick start the festival at Salford’s Lowry theatre on Friday 1 February for one night only.

The story follows a real-life same-sex couple as they decide whether to have. George and Nir explore the pros and cons of reproduction and highlight the effects on the environment as well as their own lives.

George Mann and Nir Paldi are also the co-artistic directors of Ad Infitum, which is the multi award-winning theatre company behind the play.

No Kids premiered at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2018 and has already received multiple four-star reviews and has been described as a ‘hilarious, moving and thought-provoking play’ on Contact’s website.

There will also be a post-show discussion with various experts and campaigners in fields such as environmental activism and gender politics.

Contact recommends the play for ages 14 and over, due to some explicit language and adult themes at parents’ discretion.
