Salford City will welcome struggling Barnet to the Peninsula Stadium on Saturday as Graham Alexander’s men seek a fifth successive league win. (Kick off 3 PM).

The Ammie’s are on a roll having rediscovered form after five successive defeats and no win in eight games, in what what was a difficult new year period.

Despite the slump, Salford City still sit in fourth, with a game in hand on the two sides above them and are still only four points from top spot.

The two sides met back in October where the Ammies emerged as 3-1 winners and Alexander will be hoping for the same this time round as his side enter the business end of the season.

Saturday’s 1-0 victory away at Aldershot continued there good form and they’ll be hopping for more the same as they welcome a Barnet side sitting in 20th position, four points above the relegation zone.

Before the game, the club are also asking for boot donations as part of the 92 foundation scheme.

The club are asking fans to donate boots they may not need anymore which are moulded, in adult sizes and are in reasonable condition.

The boots will be used by players in the 92 shield which is a tournament that has been set up by Foundation 92 which sees homeless centres from across the region come together to play in a 5-a-side tournament as well as receiving educational and vocational teaching as part of the course.

Any donations should be dropped off at the collection point in the Kitbag Fanzone.

Tickets for Saturday’s game are priced at £10 for adults and £5 for concessions. Under 5s gain free entry and tickets can be purchased at the gate.
