Morson Group in Salford are appealing for volunteers at their Christmas market at the end of the month to raise vital funds for charity.
Family, friends, and the local community are all invited to the Lighthouse Church in Salford on November 30 to mark the beginning of the festive season.
Organised by Mark Poncia, from Morson Group, the event hopes to bring the community together and help raise funds for two fantastic charities – The Soldier’s Charity and the Motor Neuron Disease Association.
Visitors will be able to browse over sixty stalls packed with seasonal treats and gifts, arts, crafts, including Santa’s Grotto and their very own Prosecco and Gin bar.
A repertoire of live dance acts and musical entertainment will also run throughout the day to help get everybody in the Christmas spirit.
Morson’s successful Christmas Market back in 2017:
Festivities raised more than £6000 last time because of a fantastic community effort.
This year they hope to build on that popularity with the switch to a bigger venue.
Stars from Coronation Street and Emmerdale will be there as well as professional boxer Anthony Crolla, helping to spread the Christmas cheer.
Organiser Mark said: “We have over thirty staff volunteering for this because there’s so much to do.
“Last time we didn’t know what to expect. We expected a couple of hundred people but in fact over 2000 people came through the door.”
“But the community has been massive, whether its businesses or individuals, everybody’s getting involved, and that’s the real message we want to get across.”

The soldier’s charity is the national charity of the British army, and therefore provides wide-ranging support to soldiers and veterans in need.
The Motor Neurone Disease Assocaiton provides care and support and conducts life-saving research for people affected by the condition.
There are a lot of ways you can get involved and help these fantastic causes continue their important community work.
