The Christmas classic, ‘The Muppet Christmas Carol’ will be showing on December 8 at Lark Hill Place within Salford Museum and Art Gallery.

Lark Hill Place is the museum’s atmospheric re-creation of the typical Victorian street back in 1918, restoredlast year to mark 100 years since the First World War.

It features a toy shop, music shop, chemist, pub, artisan’s cottage and the printers of the local paper ‘The Salford Reporter’ which all sit on cobble streets light up by street gas lamps.

Dan Stribling, marketing manager at Salford Community Leisure, which operates Salford Museum and Art Gallery, said: “Who doesn’t love The Muppets?! We are delighted that The Muppet Christmas Carol, showing at Lark Hill Place at Salford Museum and Art Gallery has been a sell-out so early on.

“We’re constantly striving to bring the most creative, fun and accesssible events to the museum to attract visitors old and new, including people living and working in Salford.”

Salford Community Leisure is a non-profit organisation that develops creative events for Salford residents and families.
