Leasing.com trophy semi-final

Salford City will travel south to Colchester United in another key Sky Bet League Two fixture on Saturday, with a 3pm kick off.

The Ammies progressed into the next round of the Leasing.com trophy with a 3-0 over Wolverhampton Wanderers U21 side, a performance that manager Graham Alexander was pleased by: “Looking at how the team played, how we wanted them to play, they carried it off to the tee and I thought they were superb!”

However you have to go back more than a month for their last win in the league.

Graham Alexander will be hoping to put that to bed and in the process leapfrog their opponents who currently sit 10th in the Sky Bet League Two season.
