Salford City are through to the next round of the Leasing.com EFL Trophy with the draw to be announced tonight.
The draw will be live on Sky Sports News tonight (Thursday 5th December) at 7:15pm.
There will be 8 clubs involved in Round Three of the Northern section.
Accrington Stanley’s home fixture against Bolton Wanderers is the only tie left to be played in Round Two, with the fixture to take place on Tuesday 10th December.
Salford City have been given ball number 4 and the draw is as follows:
City’s manager, Graham Alexander said: “We don’t mind who we play home or away, we’ve been doing well.”
An ideal draw for Salford City would be Tranmere Rovers, having beat them 2-0 in the group stages early in November.
Manchester City U21 would make an exciting fixture for fans, but they will have to wait and see on the results of the draw.
