Swinton Lions have announced that they are to extend their kit and merchandise deal with sportswear company SUPRO into the 2020 season.

In an issued statement on the club’s website, SUPRO Founder Tony Sheridan said: “After a fantastic performance by the team last year, we are delighted to continue the journey with Swinton Lions as Official on-field, training and leisurewear partner for the 2020 season.

“Working with the Club, my team has worked hard to deliver technical excellence for the lads on-field, as well as delivering two shirts that we hope the supporters will love.

“We can also confirm that the home and away shirts along with training wear, leisurewear and souvenirs will be available for Christmas delivery too.”

Lions’ Operation Director Steve Wild also added: “Our professional relationship with SUPRO remains very strong and we are delighted to continue our partnership into a second season.

“I’m aware that Tony and his team have worked really hard to design and deliver our home and away playing kit, together with all the associated team wear for our players and supporters.

“Our players are excited by the quality of the gear they’ve seen so far, and I’m sure our Sponsors and supporters will agree with that view.

“We will be revealing our 2020 home and away kits imminently, and replicas, as well as other team wear, will be available at our pop-up shop at The White Swan in Swinton this coming Saturday and online soon too.”

The announcement of the new kit comes after a highly successful season for the Lions, who under the management of Stuart Littler, enjoyed their most successful season in 21 years finishing ninth in the Betfred Championship.

Fans have been encouraged to keep their eyes peeled to social media for updates and more information on when the new kit is to launch.
