Police were called to reports of loud gun shots at around 11.20pm on February 9.

There is evidence that gun shots were fired through the window of a house.

The street was cordoned off this morning, with police and forensics searching for evidence.

Police also spent time carrying out door to door enquiries in nearby streets, they are appealing for any witnesses who may have seen the shooter or any other suspicious activity.

Nobody was injured during this attack; however, it has left a number of people shaken.

Anjani Parekh, 20, a nearby resident said, “I was watching TV when I heard several loud bangs, it was really scary, they echoed through the streets.”

Greater Manchester Police released a statement at 10:15 am appealing for any information from the public.

The statement reads, “At around 11:20pm on Sunday, February 9, 2020, police were called to several reports of gunshots heard on Emmeline Grange, Salford.

“Officers attended and found evidence that shots had been fired through the window of the property.

“No one was injured.

“An investigation is underway.

“No arrests have been made.”
