Salford is on 947 confirmed cases of coronavirus, an increase of FIVE.

The data was released today by the Department for Health and Social Care in partnership with the Office for National Statistics.

The current number of cases in each region is as follows:

SALFORD: 947, an increase of FIVE

BURY: 778, an increase of FOUR

BOLTON: 1,034, an increase of TWO

ROCHDALE: 825, an increase of THREE

OLDHAM: 1,097, an increase of TWO

TAMESIDE: 762, an increase of ONE

STOCKPORT: 1,056, an increase of TWO

MANCHESTER: 1,620, an increase of EIGHT

TRAFFORD: 841, a decrease of FOUR

WIGAN: 1,217, an increase of FOUR
