The data was released today by the Department for Health and Social Care in partnership with the Office for National Statistics.

The current number of cases in each region is as follows:

BURY: 817, an increase of NONE

BOLTON: 1,059, an increase of ONE

ROCHDALE: 884, an increase of ONE

OLDHAM: 1,156, an increase of NONE

TAMESIDE: 874, an increase of FOUR

STOCKPORT: 1,090, an increase of NONE

MANCHESTER: 1,737, an increase of NINE

TRAFFORD: 885, an increase of ONE

WIGAN: 1,234 1,231, a decrease of THREE
