Salford is on 1,424 confirmed cases of coronavirus, an increase of FIVE.

The data was released today by the Department for Health and Social Care in partnership with the Office for National Statistics.

The current number of cases in each region is as follows:

SALFORD: 1,424, an increase of FIVE

BURY: 1,329, an increase of SEVEN

BOLTON: 1,956, an increase of EIGHT

ROCHDALE: 1,836, an increase of SIX

OLDHAM: 2,056, an increase of TWENTY

TAMESIDE: 1,586, an increase of THREE

STOCKPORT: 1,711, a decrease of SEVEN

MANCHESTER: 3,174, an increase of SIXTEEN

TRAFFORD: 1,383, an increase of THIRTEEN

WIGAN: 2,172, an increase of THREE
