Salford has had 1,501 confirmed cases of coronavirus, an increase of NINE.

The data was released today by the Department for Health and Social Care in partnership with the Office for National Statistics.

The current number of cases in each region is as follows:

SALFORD: 1,501, an increase of NINE

BURY: 1,365, an increase of SIX

BOLTON: 2,019, an increase of NINE

ROCHDALE: 1,909, an increase of TWELVE

OLDHAM: 2,200, an increase of TWENTY ONE

TAMESIDE: 1,647, an increase of FOUR

STOCKPORT: 1,785, an increase of THREE

MANCHESTER: 3,375, an increase of TWENTY ONE

TRAFFORD: 1,452, an increase of TWO

WIGAN: 2,195, an increase of FOUR
