Salford has had 1,522 confirmed cases of coronavirus, an increase of NINE.

The data was released today by the Department for Health and Social Care in partnership with the Office for National Statistics.

The current number of cases in each region is as follows:

SALFORD: 1,522, an increase of NINE

BURY: 1,387, an increase of ELEVEN

BOLTON: 2,055, an increase of FIFTEEN

ROCHDALE: 1,933, an increase of TEN

OLDHAM: 2,269, an increase of THIRTY ONE

TAMESIDE: 1,675, an increase of SEVENTEEN

STOCKPORT: 1,801, an increase of TEN

MANCHESTER: 3,432, an increase of THIRTY FIVE

TRAFFORD: 1,475, an increase of FOURTEEN

WIGAN: 2,199, an increase of THREE
