Salford has had 1,553 confirmed cases of coronavirus, an increase of EIGHTEEN.

The data was released today by the Department for Health and Social Care in partnership with the Office for National Statistics.

The current number of cases in each region is as follows:

SALFORD: 1,553, an increase of EIGHTEEN

BURY: 1,407, an increase of SEVEN

BOLTON: 2,083, an increase of THIRTEEN

ROCHDALE: 1,971, an increase of TWENTY THREE

OLDHAM: 2,359, an increase of FOURTY FOUR

TAMESIDE: 1,722, an increase of THIRTY

STOCKPORT: 1,847, an increase of TWENTY SIX

MANCHESTER: 3,516, an increase of THIRTY THREE

TRAFFORD : 1,497, an increase of TWELVE

WIGAN: 2,212, an increase of THREE
