Salford has had 1,594 confirmed cases of coronavirus, an increase of TWENTY THREE.

The data was released today by the Department for Health and Social Care in partnership with the Office for National Statistics.

The current number of cases in each region is as follows:

SALFORD: 1,594, an increase of TWENTY THREE

BURY: 1,422, an increase of SIX

BOLTON: 2,119, an increase of THIRTEEN

ROCHDALE: 2,020, an increase of TEN

OLDHAM: 2,498, an increase of FORTY TWO

TAMESIDE: 1,747, an increase of ELEVEN

STOCKPORT: 1,869, an increase of EIGHT

MANCHESTER: 3,627, an increase of THIRTY ONE

TRAFFORD : 1,528, an increase of FOURTEEN

WIGAN: 2,225, an increase of SEVEN
