Salford has had 1,654 confirmed cases of coronavirus, an increase of NINE.

The data was released today by the Department for Health and Social Care in partnership with the Office for National Statistics.

The current number of cases in each region is as follows:

SALFORD: 1,654, an increase of NINE

BURY: 1,469, an increase of TWO

BOLTON: 2,167, an increase of FOUR

ROCHDALE: 2,074, an increase of FIVE

OLDHAM: 2,626, an increase of THIRTY

TAMESIDE: 1,789, an increase of SIX

STOCKPORT: 1,915, an increase of FIVE

MANCHESTER: 3,809, an increase of TWENTY ONE

TRAFFORD : 1,565, an increase of FOUR

WIGAN: 2,248, an increase of THREE
