Salford has had 1,693 confirmed cases of coronavirus, an increase of FIFTEEN.

The data was released today by the Department for Health and Social Care in partnership with the Office for National Statistics.

The current number of cases in each region is as follows:

SALFORD: 1,693, an increase of FIFTEEN

BURY: 1,496, an increase of SEVEN

BOLTON: 2,192, an increase of SEVEN

ROCHDALE: 2,129, an increase of TWENTY SIX

OLDHAM: 2,707, an increase of THIRTY TWO

TAMESIDE: 1,809, an increase of FIVE

STOCKPORT: 1,933, an increase of SEVEN

MANCHESTER: 3,927, an increase of FORTY TWO

TRAFFORD : 1,581, an increase of SEVEN

WIGAN: 2,264, an increase of SEVEN
