Salford has had 1,726 confirmed cases of coronavirus, an increase of SIX.

The data was released today by the Department for Health and Social Care in partnership with the Office for National Statistics.

The current number of cases in each region is as follows:

SALFORD: 1,726, an increase of SIX

BURY: 1,536, an increase of SEVEN

BOLTON: 2,218, an increase of ELEVEN

ROCHDALE: 2,160, an increase of FIVE

OLDHAM: 2,770, an increase of ELEVEN

TAMESIDE: 1,855, an increase of THIRTEEN

STOCKPORT: 1,955, an increase of FIVE

MANCHESTER: 4,054, an increase of TWENTY

TRAFFORD : 1,609, an increase of THREE

WIGAN: 2,289, an increase of EIGHT
