Salford has had 2,201 confirmed cases of coronavirus, an increase of TWENTY SEVEN.

The data was released today by the Department for Health and Social Care in partnership with the Office for National Statistics.

The current number of cases in each region is as follows:

SALFORD: 2,201, an increase of TWENTY SEVEN

BURY: 1,852, an increase of TWENTY SIX

BOLTON: 3,302, an increase of SIXTY THREE

ROCHDALE: 2,575, an increase of THIRTY ONE

OLDHAM: 3,327, an increase of FORTY SIX

TAMESIDE: 2,323, an increase of FORTY NINE

STOCKPORT: 2,191, an increase of TWENTY EIGHT

MANCHESTER: 5,053, an increase of SEVENTY

TRAFFORD: 1,867, an increase of SIXTEEN

WIGAN: 2,564, an increase of THIRTY
