Salford has had 2,967 confirmed cases of Covid-19, an increase of FORTY EIGHT.

The data was released today by the Department for Health and Social Care in partnership with the Office for National Statistics.

The current number of cases in each region is as follows:

SALFORD: 2,967, an increase of FORTY EIGHT

BURY: 2,556, an increase of FORTY SIX

BOLTON: 4,637, an increase of SIXTY SEVEN

ROCHDALE: 3,261, an increase of THIRTY SIX

OLDHAM: 4,128, an increase of FORTY NINE

TAMESIDE: 2,934, an increase of TWENTY NINE

STOCKPORT: 2,647, an increase of TWENTY NINE

MANCHESTER: 7,026, an increase of ONE HUNDRED AND NINETEEN

TRAFFORD: 2,281, an increase of TWENTY EIGHT

WIGAN: 3,361, an increase of THIRTY FIVE
