Salford artist Emma Evans has come second in a speed painting contest in aid of mental health charities.
The art battle saw artists competing to create a masterpiece in under 30 minutes, raising more than £565.
All 12 masterpieces are being auctioned, and the funds raised will be split between the artists, Mind Charity and Help Musicians Charity.
Runner-up Evans said: “It was intense. In the end we had to create our piece in 20 minutes.
“My first painting was the ‘North South Divide Mancunian Spirit’.
“The top half of the painting depicts the dark cloud of Wesminster ‘reigning’ over Manchester during these hard times. With the clock set to 10pm to highlight the curfew plan being challenged by hospitality bosses in the city.
“The lower part of the painting is Manchester, bright, bold and growing stronger. The umbrellas are protecting and shielding, a symbol of the people adapting to overcome.”
