Salford has had 11,199 confirmed cases of Covid-19, an increase of TWO HUNDRED AND SEVENTY THREE.

Additionally, THREE people have lost their lives at Salford Royal hospital.

The data was released today by the Department for Health and Social Care in partnership with the Office for National Statistics.

The current number of cases in each region is as follows:

SALFORD: 11,199, an increase of TWO HUNDRED AND SEVENTY THREE

BURY: 8,331, an increase of TWO HUNDRED AND FIVE

BOLTON: 12,937, an increase of TWO HUNDRED AND TWENTY FIVE

ROCHDALE: 10,557, an increase of TWO HUNDRED AND FORTY TWO

OLDHAM: 12,581, an increase of THREE HUNDRED AND EIGHT

TAMESIDE: 8,896, an increase of ONE HUNDRED AND EIGHTY EIGHT

STOCKPORT: 9,090, an increase of TWO HUNDRED AND ONE

MANCHESTER: 24,401, an increase of FOUR HUNDRED AND FORTY THREE

TRAFFORD: 7,868, an increase of ONE HUNDRED AND EIGHTY ONE

WIGAN: 14,067, an increase of THREE HUNDRED AND TWENTY ONE
