Fancy getting into the Christmas spirit while getting some exercise? Then the Running Bee Foundation is here to help.

The Running Bee Foundation have launched their #BeeActiveBeeHeathyBeeHappy campaign! They are holding a virtual edition of the popular Jingle Bee Jog that they usually hold.

The Running Bee Foundation aims to improve the health and well-being of communities across the North West and tackle childhood obesity.

This year it is to support the NHS and all profits will go to the Northern Care Alliance who provides care across Salford, Oldham, Rochdale, and Bury.

It is £10 to enter, and you have the month to walk, jog or even stroll to complete 5K.

Participants will receive a limited-edition medal by post when they have completed the fun run.

It is a fun event for the festive season, and you can do it as fast or as slow as you’d like to.

Kevin Harmer, Event Logistics & Sponsor Activation Manager at The Running Bee Foundation, said: “The Jingle Bell Jog is always a great event for the Running Bee Foundation. We would normally have a physical race of maybe 450/500 people down at Media City in Salford but obviously, this year is completely different because covid so we’ve decided to move it to a virtual event so people can do it at their leisure in and around maybe where they live or where work and do it.

“We continue to be amazed by the spirit of our running community, and we are sure that our supporters will be out with their family bubbles this December to show their festive running spirit and help us raise money for fantastic causes in your area.”
