Fans have reacted with delight after Salford City FC uploaded a video on their Instagram account showing sand artist @Fallinginsand’s recreation of the club logo.

The video consists of a time-lapse of coloured sand being moulded into the shape of the Salford City FC crest.

Liked by former footballer and co-owner of Salford City Gary Neville, the video has been viewed more than 78,000 times. With comments such as “Wow that’s immense” and “that’s superb”, @fallinginsand is becoming a big hit in Salford.

In 2018, James Sun from Toronto, Canada, started creating detailed sand portraits and brand logos

He filmed the process as relaxing and therapeutic social media content and now has 3.4 million followers on Tik-Tok.

Having a large clientele including brands such as Facebook, Universal Music UK, and NHL, the Canadian company is expanding its brand over to the UK.

Featured in ‘Ripley’s Believe It Or Not’, Falling In Sand has more than 600 million views worldwide on social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram and Tik-Tok.

The most-viewed clip published over a week ago on TikTok had more than 16.4 million views worldwide.
