Irlam Football Club are expecting to see a huge rise in attendance for their upcoming match against Macclesfield FC.

The Silkmen, who have an average away attendance of more than 600 fans per game this season, travel to Irlam on February 8th.

Macclesfield who sit top of the league on 63 points are looking to extend their lead at the top. This is Macclesfield’s first season in the North West Counties League after they emerges as a phoenix club from Macclesfield Town and are owned by former Wales international Robbie Savage.

Irlam are currently 9th in the table and are looking to cause an upset by beating the high flying Macclesfield. Irlam are unbeaten in five games and have won their last four. They ran out 2-1 winners away at Vauxhall Motors at the weekend, to put themselves 2nd in the form table.
