ARE you tired of hearing your kids complaining about how bored they are? Or are you just looking for a nice day out with your kids, without burning a hole in your pocket?  

We know, Christmas has just passed and funds may not the highest right now, and you may be starting to give up trying to come up with things to do with your kids. We have the perfect events list for you, too keep your little ones busy this February half term and the prices range from £0-£15.

Freebies at the Trafford Centre!

Various different FREE events are being held at Trafford Centre for you and your children to go and enjoy.

  • Tuesday 21st February – Tuesday is Crepe and Waffles day! Bring your children along for a day of getting their hands messy creating wonderful treats to wow their taste buds.
  • Wednesday 22nd February – Wednesday is create a sandwich or sushi roll on a kebab stick! Give your little ones a chance to make a change to their normal lunch, and enjoy cutting out shapes from bread and choosing their own ingredients.
  • Thursday 23rd February – On Thursdays, the Trafford centre are creating pizza! The children can design anything they would like on the face of the pizza, choosing their ingredients and it will be wrapped up and ready to take home and bake for tea! Fancy that, your children will have made the tea for once!
  • Friday 24th February – Fridays Finale is… DESERT! Who does not love a delicious Bannoffee pie, or a fruit and sponge sundae? Especially when the hard work has been done by your children. Bring them along for the final food activity, and give them the chance to end their half term with a bang- on their taste buds!

FREE Cinema Event Bolton!

On Wednesday 22nd February, Bolton Central Library at the Crescent are showing The Secret Life of Pets, for free!  The films starts at 12pm, and there is no booking requirement, food and drinks are available to purchase at the event.  Who would want to miss an opportunity for a free cinema event? Take your children along and enjoy a spend-free day.

Under 12’s need to bring an adult or parent with them.

Pancake Day Has Come Early!

An event named Pancakes in the Park is around from the 20th of February until the 26th. Even though pancake day isn’t until the 28th of February, this event is allowing kids to be able to come along and get their hands messy making pancakes, filling them with fillings of their choice. The event runs for two hours everyday, from 12-2pm. It only costs £1.50 per child, so come along and indulge in the pancakes! – Stalybridge, Manchester, OL6 6QS

Superheroes at The Farm!

Until the 26th of February, superheroes are flying around Cockfields farm in Ashton. Children can enjoy exploring the farm, feeding and handling animals, and playing on the climbing frames. A different superhero is appearing everyday, including popular characters such as Batman, Spiderman, Elsa, Cinderella, and more!

Adults entry is £5.95, childrens entry is £6.95 and under ones go free!

Cupcake decorating event!

Lilli Oliver Cakes Manchester, are running sessions which your little ones can go along and decorate cupcakes. The sessions run from 2pm-3pm on February 22nd, if there is a high demand, more dates or time slots may be added. It is £10 per child, which includes four decorated cakes gift boxes. This would be a nice way for your children to explore making cakes in a different environment. To book a session, call: 0161 272 0886.

Jurassic Ranger at Sea Life!

Take your children to the sea life centre, at Trafford Centre, so discover the ocean and the historical creatures, with the Jurassic Ranger!

Sea Life launched the event on the 16th of February, creating on opportunity for your children to have a fun and educational day out! Children can meet the giant Megalodon shark, which once ruled our oceans, and discover fossils and artefacts; as well as lizard eggs. Prices start from £10.95, and you may need to book online to avoid ques.

Fun at the Trafford Centre Legoland!
Legoland are celebrating their new Lego Batman movie at the Trafford Centre. This event includes a themed scavenger hunt, and a building session with experienced model maker Alex. The event launched on the 10th of February and finishes on Sunday the 12th of March. So if you do not have time to make it this half term, you have plenty of time before the event ends. Prices are £11 for children and £15 for adults.
