IF you don’t want the hassle of flipping your own creations this pancake day, Manchester has plenty of options for eating out and filling your sweet tooth.

We’ve picked the best pancake resteraunts from across the reigon, and if your student budget won’t quite stretch we’ve included a few recipes to try out at home:

Penelope’s Kitchen:

Right in the heart of MediaCityUK, Penelope’s, according to the M.E.N, was the best place in Greater Manchester to get yourself some pancakes in 2013, and to this day they don’t disappoint.

Talking to the staff at Penelope’s Kitchen, they mentioned how their most popular pancake is definitely the Danny Radman, pancakes topped with bacon, maple syrup and icing sugar.

You can find Penelope’s Kitchen at The Pie Factory, MediaCityUK, 101 Broadway M50 2EQ

Moose Coffee:

Originating in Liverpool, Moose Coffee was created by Nick and Harry van Breeman, two brothers with a passion for food.

Not only did they create the business because of their love of food and America, they developed their own pancake recipe by taking the best parts of other recipes.

They say their best sellers are probably the pancakes with bacon, however, their ‘Double Dutch’ with smoked sausage and bacon mixed in with the batter also flies off their shelves.

Moose Coffee can be found on York Street, Manchester, M2 2BB
