With Bonfire night quickly approaching, there are a number of displays and family fun evenings that you can attend to enjoy the night.

In Salford, you can enjoy a display at Princes’ Park on Liverpool Road on Friday 3rd November, which will host a bonfire lit at 7pm, a funfair from 6pm and their display at 7.30pm.

For this event there will not be any parking. However, there is also no fee!

And on Saturday 4th November, there will be a Firework Spectacular at City Airport which starts at 5pm, fireworks just after 7pm, as well as food, drink and fun fair rides that you can enjoy throughout the evening.

This event requires you to buy tickets in advance or on the door.

The tickets will cost £3.50 for children aged 3-16 and £5.50 for adults.

As well as Salford, there will be a number of events throughout Manchester.

One of the biggest firework displays in Manchester takes place at Heaton Park on Sunday 5th November, which will hold a funfair from 5pm and the bonfire will be lit at 7.30pm, shortly followed by their display.

This event will be free for everyone.

Just on the edge of Salford is the Roe Green cricket club bonfire display which is provided by the local village. The bonfire will take place on Saturday 4th November and the bonfire will be lit at 6.30pm. The fireworks for this event will take place at 7.30pm.

Throughout the evening, drinks and alcoholic beverages are provided by the cricket club as well as a freshly prepared menu and barbecue by Blacksticks restaurant, Monton.

There is also a Guy Faulks competition at the Roe Green bonfire where you have the chance to be chosen to light the bonfire on the night! Tickets for this event can be purchased online.

But you can buy your tickets on the door.
