Wakefield Trinity have signed former Wales captain and Salford Red Devils prop, Craig Kopczak, on a one-year deal.

It comes as no surprise that Craig Kopczak has signed for another Super League team as the Red Devils announced last Friday that an offer had been accepted for the Welshman.

The 31-year-old forward started his career at Bradford Bulls in 2006 before joining Huddersfield Giants in 2013 where he helped the team win the League Leaders’ Shield, he then came to Salford in 2016 and is now moving back to Yorkshire to play for Wakefield!

During his time at Salford he made sixty-seven appearances, scored twelve tries and became a fan favourite.

Trinity head coach, Chris Chester, claims they had been chasing him for a very long time and that now the deal is done he is delighted.

Craig Kopczak joins Wakefield for the 2019 season and will be at the club for at least 12 months.
