After 5 successful years, Salford’s beer festival gets ready for another few days of drinking and people coming together to have fun.

The festival will take place over three days, Thursday 29th November to Saturday 1st December 2018

They have made a few changes this year with the location being one, the new location of the festival is Hemsley House, 41-42 The Crescent, Salford M54PE which is located near to many bus links and just around the corner to Salford Crescent train station.

The festival will consist of many different beers with prices as cheap as £3!

All profits will be donated to charity, the charity chosen this year is Start in Salford. Start in Salford exists to nurture those talents and bring about a newfound confidence in those who feel isolated or excluded. The beer festival donates profits to charity every year to help local charities in Salford.

Jim Cullen, founder of Salford’s beer festival describes the decision to ‘go again’ as “an interesting journey”

He also said “It’s truly humbling to see and feel all the love for this event, it kind of means that we’ve got it to where we always wanted it to be. Good beer, good people and good music all coming together.

“Despite the new surroundings, this isn’t a fancy bash and we are products of this environment, these twin cities of Salford and Manchester, and we don’t take ourselves too seriously up here.”

There will be live music from artists such as Zacc Rogers, Elly Grice and George Fell. There will also be a presentation/chat with former national champion homebrewer Andy Parker.

Last year there was 74 beers from 62 breweries and this year it is likely to be very similar. With a long list of breweries attending the festival such as Abbeydale, Brew York, Five towns and many more.

A full list of breweries attending can be viewed on their website.
