Salford have recently been fundraising to help Freya Bailey, 8, who was born with Cerebral palsy and has two holes in her heart.
She has had four major operations in her short life and has to use a wheelchair everyday.
The money raised will provide the essential physiotherapy, specialist equipment, adaptations and any other required therapy activities for Freya.

Freya now requires many years of intense post op physiotherapy at a cost of £240 per week.
This, along with the SDR operation she has already had, is not funded by the NHS.
So far £36,305 has been raised out of their total £45,000 target.
The community have been helping Freya to reach her target, such as Irlam Vale FC who recently raised funds through a charity football match which can be seen in the video below.
Neovia Irlam UK also recently raised £1000 for Freya’s fund.

In January 2018 Freya underwent SDR surgery to sever nerves in her lower spine releasing a good proportion of the tightness in her muscles immediately removing the daily pain Freya was in and also improving her speech.
