The Angel Centre is offering free 1-2-1 support to Salford residents on losing weight. 

The centre offers free nutritional support and courses as well as personal training and exercise classes.

Kate Simpson, service director of the Angel Centre, Chapel Street, said: “We offer 1-2-1 support through the use of food diaries and apps.

“Our support includes raising awareness of the Government-led Change for Life scheme for families. We work with local schools and families to raise awareness of programmes like sugar swaps and family activity ideas.”

“This means our coach meets with people once a week to support with nutrition advice. As well as, 1-2-1 exercises. There are free personal training sessions with our coach at home or at the Angel Centre.

“We are a health and wellbeing organisation dedicated to helping local people. Anyone under 18 would need to access with a parent but there is no age limit.”

The centre says: “We are dedicated to providing Salford people with opportunities to become healthier and happier through providing a range of activities, services and courses.”
