Salford is on 982 confirmed cases of coronavirus, an increase of TWO.

The data was released today by the Department for Health and Social Care in partnership with the Office for National Statistics.

The current number of cases in each region is as follows:

SALFORD: 982, an increase of TWO

BURY: 817, an increase of NONE

BOLTON: 1,060, an increase of ONE

ROCHDALE: 886, an increase of TWO

OLDHAM: 1,157, an increase of ONE

TAMESIDE: 881, an increase of SEVEN

STOCKPORT: 1,092, an increase of TWO

MANCHESTER: 1,740, an increase of THREE

TRAFFORD: 884, a decrease of ONE

WIGAN: 1,233, an increase of TWO
