Salford has had 2,353 confirmed cases of coronavirus, an increase of FIFTY THREE.

The data was released today by the Department for Health and Social Care in partnership with the Office for National Statistics.

The current number of cases in each region is as follows:

SALFORD: 2,353, an increase of FIFTY THREE

BURY: 1,953, an increase of THIRTY SIX

BOLTON: 3,589, an increase of SEVENTY SIX

ROCHDALE: 2,685, an increase of TWENTY NINE

OLDHAM: 3,455, an increase of THIRTY EIGHT

TAMESIDE: 2,267, an increase of THIRTY TWO

STOCKPORT: 2,267, an increase of THIRTY TWO

MANCHESTER: 5,335, an increase of ONE HUNDRED AND TWO

TRAFFORD: 1,924, an increase of EIGHTEEN

WIGAN: 2,678, an increase of THIRTY NINE
