Salford has had 4,335 confirmed cases of Covid-19, an increase of SEVENTY EIGHT.

The data was released today by the Department for Health and Social Care in partnership with the Office for National Statistics.

The current number of cases in each region is as follows:

SALFORD: 4,335, an increase of SEVENTY EIGHT

BURY: 3,515, an increase of SIXTY THREE

BOLTON: 5,958, an increase of SIXTY NINE

ROCHDALE: 4,476, an increase of FORTY TWO

OLDHAM: 5,326, an increase of EIGHTY FIVE

TAMESIDE: 3,878, an increase of SIXTY TWO

STOCKPORT: 3,769, an increase of EIGHTY SIX

MANCHESTER: 11,853, an increase of TWO HUNDRED AND THIRTY FOUR

TRAFFORD: 3,361, an increase of SEVENTY TWO

WIGAN: 4,877, an increase of ONE HUNDRED AND FORTY FOUR
